The community of Entiat is located at the confluence of the Columbia and Entiat Rivers, about eighteen miles north of the city of Wenathcee, along Highway 97A. From the city of Entiat, district boundaries extend ten miles to the north and south along the Columbia River. While the Columbia River serves as the eastern boundary of the district, the district reaches westward deep into the Cascade mountain range approximately 30 miles along the Entiat River Road.
The district serves approximately 380 students in its two adjoining schools; Paul Rumburg Elementary School and Entiat Junior & Senior High School.
